Final homesites selling at Hydeberry Rochedale
Less than 20 homesites remain in Mirvac's premium Hydeberry at Rochedale residential estate, with construction now finalised on all lots in the community.
In total, more than 85 per cent of the 133 homesites, which were released in two stages, have been snapped up, with the final lots attracting strong interest from local owner-occupiers looking to upgrade to a new home in Brisbane's inner suburban ring.
The first residents are preparing to move into their brand new homes in the coming months, with construction in full-swing.
Located just 14.5 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, Hydeberry’s final land lots range from 365sqm to 434sqm and are priced from $456,000.
Mirvac Queensland Residential General Manager, Warwick Bible, said with all homesites now complete, there was high demand for the final lots.
"Now we have finalised construction of the community and the first homes are being built, purchasers can get a real sense of the quality of the estate," he said.
"From the moment you enter Hydeberry's elegant entry statement and tree-lined boulevards, you appreciate the extra touches that have gone into making this community special.
"The elevated position also means residents can benefit from views, with some lots even capturing vistas of the city skyline,” he said.
"With all homesites now ready to build-on, prospective purchasers also have the opportunity to walk the site, select the perfect lot to suit their family and start the building process immediately."
Mr Bible said Hydeberry's location in Rochedale was also appealing, with the suburb a popular choice for those looking to build a new home in Brisbane.
"Rochedale ticks all the boxes - location, accessibility, amenity and quality," he said.
"It is within an easy commute of the CBD, just minutes from the motorway and will further benefit from enhanced public transport, such as the proposed high-frequency Brisbane Metro station, which is planned for Eight Mile Plains and will provide direct connections to Southbank and the city.
"Rochedale also has great access to established amenities including schools, shopping, dining and entertainment - with plenty more on the horizon, including the new Rochedale Town Centre, which is being constructed less than a kilometre away."
Jeanie Pillay and her husband Kivesh Mayalal are looking forward to starting construction on their new home in Hydeberry , after securing a 565sqm corner block in the community.
The couple will upsize from their two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Coorparoo to a four-bedroom and three-bathroom double storey home, with contemporary finishes and a swimming pool, at Hydeberry.
Jeanie said they discovered the community after an exhaustive search to find the ideal location to start a family.
“We looked at several other communities around Brisbane, but the houses all felt too close together and none of them really met our needs,” she said.
“We immediately fell in love with Hydeberry’s spacious layout, quiet and elevated surrounds and vibrant community atmosphere. It looked different from everywhere else we visited and it immediately felt like home.”
Jeanie, who works as a teacher at Park Ridge High School, said Hydeberry’s location was also ideal.
“Hydeberry’s position close to major transport networks and roads will make getting to and from work a breeze and we have all the amenities we could possibly need at our fingertips, with shopping centres and schools all within easy reach," she said.
“We will commence construction on our new home in April and are hoping to move in just before Christmas, but have already had the opportunity to get to know some of our neighbours at a settlement event held by Mirvac, which gave us great comfort knowing we will be part of such a close-knit community.
“We can’t wait to move into our dream home and start a family in what will be the perfect community to enter the next phase of our lives together.”
